I was delighted to screen some old and new films the other day at Butosfera, but the real highlight was the workshop that followed: strolling around the garden, late afternoon sunlight, sharing ideas and working methods. Arigatou Anita, Hiroko and all the participants.

Along the shore is a collaboration between Chris H. Lynn and Daniel Barbiero. The composition was recorded during late December 2022 and February 2023.
Chris H. Lynn: Duration field recording of tidal rhythms (high) moving and shifting patches of ice along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay at dusk in late December.
Daniel Barbiero: Double bass recording of three pages of “Soundings,” a graphically notated composition for solo bass clef instrument.
