Thoughts on the VSW screening
The epic drive to Rochester NY proved to be well worth it! The films looked and sounded great on a large screen. The transition from video to super 8 was seamless and quite stunning. I was in awe of Gordon’s technical proficiency. The Q and A afterwards was pleasant and we all enjoyed some rounds at the local pub on a lovely spring night in upstate New York.
In addition, Tara also provided us with a tour of the VSW which has a plethora of treasures. This is a place you could spend hours doing research, viewing the exhibitions, browsing the collection, or just reading. I would urge anyone interested in the Visual Arts to take a trip and visit the building. Fantastic time!

Thoughts on the Visiting Artist Lecture at Salisbury University
I had a wonderful time speaking to students and faculty at Salisbury University on Thursday. Thanks again to Tara, Dave and Brook. The facility is top notch and the whole event went without any technical glitches. I was able to cover a wide range of topics and I found the questions from the students to be sophisticated and thoughtful. The event was also really well attended.

Works screened:
London 5 (2006)
Journal of Drifting Hours, live super 8 projection. Footage shot in Quebec, summer 2007.
Ships Passing on the Huangpu River (2013)
I wanted to screen my newest work, but the lecture actually went over.
Super 8 still above is from the reel I screened.
Thanks again!
