Preparing Notes for SU lecture and excerpt from Tongjing
Next week I am off to Salisbury University to deliver a talk and screen some of my films for the visiting artist lecture series (3/12/15). I am really grateful to have the opportunity to showcase my work and to discuss the audiovisual, landscapes, field recordings, and other things with the students of SU. Here is a link to the event. This is part of their exhibition Alternative Topographies In the meantime, below is a clip from a new work I will screen for the lecture along with super 8 films.
A special thanks to Li Xiaoxing for taking a number of us to TonJing last summer. A distinctive place along the banks of the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province. More on this later
