UKIGUMO

Very excited about the Edge of Presence performance with Hiroko Komiya early next week in Warsaw, Poland, but before the event, I am happy to share our latest collaboration: UKIGUMO

This version is slightly different from the version that appeared on Framework Radio a few weeks ago.

Along the Shore

Very excited to share this new collaboration with Daniel Barbiero on the wonderful Plus Timbre label. Enjoy !

Along the shore is a collaboration between Chris H. Lynn and Daniel Barbiero. The composition was recorded during late December 2022 and February 2023.

Chris H. Lynn: Duration field recording of tidal rhythms (high) moving and shifting patches of ice along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay at dusk in late December.

Daniel Barbiero: Double bass recording of three pages of “Soundings,” a graphically notated composition for solo bass clef instrument.

Info on the Audio -Training- Manual festival in Seoul

Really thrilled that the Miniature Landscape Correspondence will be part of this stellar festival which begins on 10/15  in Oil Tank Culture Park !

From the festival  notes on the Miniature Landscape Correspondence in the Unheard Voices Program:

Although the works seem to foreground the visual access to the scene at first sight, they project the natural, invisible soundscape beyond the landscape that is shown, which conveys the meta-presence of the sound in our daily life.

Here is a link to the program and  all the incredible Artists involved. Massive thanks to Una for initiating this and to Arts Incubator in South Korea. The Oil Tank Culture Park looks stunning.  More soon.
