A few notes on UNZA! and Expanded Salon 1



Grazi everyone at UNZA! Hiroko Komiya, Giordano Costi, Maruska Ronchi for beautiful shows in Italy. I was very moved to hear the reports and the reception of the films, the music, and the dancing. I am really looking forward to doing some more shows in the distant future, possibly in winter. Here are some photos, but I plan on posting more in the archive. I have already posted a few things on social media. More soon.
Heading to Italy/France

Projecting Super 8mm and digital film from the fragments of landscape. Soundscape from live improvised sounds, field recordings, poems and voices. The dancers’ and the performers’ symbolic and suggestive presence, movements and shadows.

Expanded Cinema Trio live in Takoma Park, Md.
Here is a recording of the performance last thursday in Takoma Park. I always enjoy screening and performing with Gary and Dan and last week was no exception.
