New Antibes release!

Antibes (24) is the third collection of improvised piano pieces recorded in the south of France on an old out-of-tune piano during the months of July and August 2024.
There are a few minor embellishments here and there, but for the most part, this is an accurate document of those summer hours.
Once again, it was lovely to return to this magical place and record during the afternoon and evening.

Mastered in Silver Spring, MD in September-October, 2024

Some notes on Fragments Accumulate at Convent de Sant Agusti

Fragments Accumulate with Hiroko Komiya premiered at Convent de Sant Agusti in Barcelona on 11/21. This was my second trip to this wonderful space, and it did not disappoint. This year Hiroko and I were part of a larger audiovisual festival which addressed how artists are dealing with the climate crisis. The festival link is here . I was really honored to be part of this.

We both introduced a new set of sounds and I incorporated some new super 8 images as well. The set lasted a little over 40 minutes. A fantastic crowd and response. The sounds, pace, mood, images all seemed to flow together well. A beautiful experience. We documented the set and the rehearsals, so that material will be available in some capacity in the future. Quite a few new ideas emerged from this show too. Massive thanks to Convent de Sant Agusti and the entire team. We hope to be going back soon.
