Miniature Landscape Correspondance 1-10

The Miniature Landscape Correspondence began in early spring with Una Lee. As a collaborative duo, we wanted to create something like a video letter or correspondence documenting a moment or view in time. Each view (moment) was composed of two shots, one from each continent, Asia and America. This is the first series and we hope you enjoy them!

This event actually took place yesterday in Salisbury Maryland,  the link is here
I had a great time and saw two really superb performances from Khristian and David. I was actually able to screen quite a few of my films from 2007-2008-which was also really nice.
Thanks to Khristian and David for making it happen! It was a special night.

Mongsang on Classwar Karaoke 0022 Survey

mongsang

Mongsang is a new track composed with Una. For this particular piece we used field recordings, piano, percussion, and a tibetan bowl. Mongsang means daydream in Korean, which is appropriate I think. Thanks to Classwar for another amazing survey!

Lynlee Beauty was Everwhere (excerpt)

Here is an excerpt from Lynlee’s Beauty was Everywhere, which was featured in Sound Interpretations  dedication to Virginia Woolf. To quote Una Lee, “Soothing field recording and awakening text are merged together in one to express the deepest admiration towards Virginia Woolf.” Enjoy!

A Rolling Mind screened at the Heritage Film Festival tomorrow night-4/25/13

a rolling mindI am happy to announce A Rolling Mind, my audio visual collaboration with Una Lee, will be screened tomorrow night at The Heritage Film Festival. The schedule is here .The Heritage Film Festival is curated by the incredible O.Funmilayo Makarah. As I stated in a post last year, I am always grateful to be part of her festival, this is my sixth year.   I am providing a number of links to check out her legendary film work and bio. I was fortunate enough to see some films presented  at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C and it is defiantly worth checking out. A number of the LA Rebellion filmmakers will be present at the festival. More on this later.
