New Lynlee Project!

I am happy to report that Una and I are working on
a new collaborative series ‘Words in the Winds : Sounds’. Here is a brief description:
A field recording is marked with the presence of the sound recordist through a recited poem and accompanied by musical intervention, which occurs through exchange of sound. Below is our first track.
Enjoy!

Moving Text

Ana Villas Boas describes herself as an Urban sociologist and runner focused on studies about soundscapes and silence. Over at Keep Moving Flow she has written some wonderful lines on a few of my films/sounds and how it relates to her running practice. This perspective is really quite unique, but makes perfect sense. Look for more post on this topic soon, but for now take a trip to  São Paulo, Brasil and enjoy her words.

New Barbiero/Lynn track-Rusted Boats in a Foggy Harbor

1 3

Doubting All Things Aligned is a new collaborative work with  Daniel Barbiero. The entire project will be released this summer, but for now we offer this teaser, “Rusted Boats in a Foggy Harbor version 2.” This track  features chance piano, prepared bass, and field recordings. Enjoy!

New Miniature Landscape Correspondence 15

The Miniature Landscape Correspondence series is an audio visual
collaboration between Una Lee and Chris H Lynn . Each correspondence or observation is composed of two shots, one from each
continent. The films are a homage to the Lumière brothers and the early days of
cinema. In addition, these unassuming landscape moments (shots, views)
coupled with a steady visual rhythm will hopefully reflect the direct experience of the everyday.
