I am happy to announce A Rolling Mind, my audio visual collaboration with Una Lee, will be screened tomorrow night at The Heritage Film Festival. The schedule is here .The Heritage Film Festival is curated by the incredible O.Funmilayo Makarah. As I stated in a post last year, I am always grateful to be part of her festival, this is my sixth year. I am providing a number of links to check out her legendary film work and bio. I was fortunate enough to see some films presented at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C and it is defiantly worth checking out. A number of the LA Rebellion filmmakers will be present at the festival. More on this later.

Here is an except from A Taste of Rainy Dawn a Lynlee composition for the Haze Sound Interpretation series on Jack Kerouac. I posted a link to the compilation last week. Enjoy.
Lynlee composed a track specifically for Haze’s latest Sound Interpretation series dedicated to Jack Kerouac. The track entitled “A Taste of Rainy Dawn” has Una and me reading Kerouac’s haikus in English and Korean with additional field recordings and soundscapes. The piece was really a pleasure to make and we hope it captures a certain feeling in the haikus. To listen or download go here. Lots of great things to discover. More from Lynlee soon.

Una Lee : Field Recording
Chris Lynn: Soundscapes
Lynlee is a very exciting collaborative adventure that I am undertaking with sound artist Una Lee. As a duo, we plan to share our ideas, field recordings, remixes and visuals to create works we both find satisfying and new. We are in the early stages, but we already have produced a number of tracks and a short film. We will be posting our compositions on the Lynlee soundcloud page which is located below. Expect more details as the project develops, but for now-have a listen!
I am very pleased to present the first Audio Visual collaboration with South Korean sound artist Una Lee. The track “A Rolling Mind“ appears on Una Lee’s excellent disc Grainy Thought, which was released earlier this year. More on this ongoing collaboration soon-Enjoy
